Over the 26 years 5th Avenue Poulton has been the leading beauty therapy and well-being centre of the Fylde Coast achieving various Awards of Excellence within the beauty industry.

"Kirsty was delightful and agreed to see me although I was late for the appointment due to traffic issues etc I was in her professional hands, sooo nice and the bed was very comfortable and the room was warm, quiet and calm and it instantly made me feel relaxed. The signature facial was the best I’ve had in years! The smell was amazing and it seemed to be lots of different things going on, cleansing, exfoliating, heated cloths etc and it was classed as an express facial! Thank you so much for this! As I left I was given a small sample of hydration mask to use at home-Soo kind! Highly recommended salon- with lovely staff

The prescription she prepared was extensive but she explained I don’t need to get everything at once but did recommend what I should it now. I opened the doors of 5th Avenue Beauty Poulton in 1999 and have loved every minute of building up this incredible salon into the fantastic award winning salon it is now renowned for! Our impeccable reputation has been built up through hard work, dedication to the industry, a fantastic team of therapists and receptionists, and leading skincare brands such as Guinot, Decleor, OPI and Mii Cosmetics which has given me the perfect combination to achieve and maintain our Elite status in the industry. Clients like continuity, professionalism, innovation and dedication which we strive to give them at all times. I am still a working therapist in salon, which I can never see changing, as I am still as passionate about beauty now as I was when I started in the industry. The immense satisfaction when you are working with a client in achieving their goals is what pushes me on to want more. My specialist area is without question ‘everything about the skin’ and as a Facialist you have to understand the science behind the skin and it’s ‘traumas’ along the ‘life journey’ through different stages of ageing or possible illnesses such as cancer, and know how to help overcome these problems. In salon every client is unique and every treatment is tailored to each individual client’s needs ~ we listen, we treat, but most importantly we care!

I pride myself on providing a friendly and professional service and I get great satisfaction from making clients feel more confident and better about themselves. I love all things beauty, my favourite treatments to do are OPI Gel Nails, Facials and Massages.

With over 12 years of experience in the beauty industry, I am passionate about helping clients look and feel their best. I love carrying out face and body treatments, and I have also gained an oncology qualification that allows me to perform the Cancer Care Facial – a treatment that is close to my heart. My skills range from advanced facials to deep tissue and sports massage, where I’m able to identify concerns and give tailored advice to support each client’s wellbeing. As salon manager at 5th Avenue, I’m proud to lead caring, talented team, and I look forward to welcoming you into our salon. My goal is always to ensure you leave feeling relaxed, refreshed and truly cared for.

12 years ago I started my beauty therapy journey doing a years nail services course which I absolutely loved! I continued my training doing an apprenticeship in general beauty therapy. Once qualified I continued to work in a salon whilst studying complementary therapies. Throughout the years I have continued to do additional beauty related courses and extending my knowledge. There isn't a treatment I offer that I dont enjoy carrying out! I've been at 5th Avenue for over a year now and loved it all from the training to the helpful colleagues and lovely clients.

Working at 5th Avenue for over 16 years has given me an extensive knowledge in treatments and products within the salon and industry in general. Like all therapists I do have my favourite treatments to perform which are Guinot Facials. Helping clients to improve their skin condition by advising the correct treatment and aftercare can make a huge difference and help regain lost confidence. Nail care is another treatment that I have a passion for. Giving clients beautifully manicured and healthy maintained nails gives me great pleasure. I take exceptional pride in all my work. 5th Avenue is a wonderfully calm and happy place to work. My extended family of colleagues make coming to work a happy and loving environment.

I joined the 5th Ave team after returning to work from maternity leave over 5 years ago. I started my working life training to be a hairdresser and once qualified I then trained to do makeup application which allowed me to venture into the beauty sector. Working within a public service environment is where I thrive- being super organised and I enjoy dealing with the public. Working front of house gives me the opportunity to help our wonderful clients with any queries that they may have, scheduling appointments and advising on skincare or makeup. Helping the therapists with clients before, during and after their appointments, gives me the opportunity to get to know all of our clients on such a lovely level it’s like one big happy family. I am loving my time here at 5th Avenue with a great team and fabulous clients.

I have been part of the 5th Avenue team for over 2 years specialising in all aspects of nail treatments, enhancement and nail care, working Saturdays and other days in the school holidays. I am passionate about everything nails - hands and feet! I love the satisfaction of a client coming in with specific problems and I can improve the condition and the look. I have just completed a waxing course and look forward to performing these treatments in salon soon.
